66- Jobslinger: Power Tools for Mystery Shoppers
The best jobs from the best boards.. all in one place!
Mystery Shopping
Mystery shopping actually requires a lot of travel, but it is totally little kid friendly. My kids know that when I log onto certain websites that we are going out to eat, or ordering a pizza, but they don't know enough to give me away as a shopper. I have made a full time income with mystery shopping, but it takes a lot of leg work and organization. I list it first because it is where I got my start. You have to sign up with a ton of companies, then keep track of which ones have jobs in your area. Or, you can go to jobslinger (free) and do a search for jobs in your areas. You'll still have to sign up with a lot of companies, but it will give you a head start.
- Blogger: Create your free blog
Blogger is a free blog publishing tool from Google for easily sharing your thoughts with the world. Blogger makes it simple to post text, photos and video onto your personal or team blog.
Social Blogging
Now that I am in internet marketing, I hear a lot of people say that you can't make money as a social blogger. That is simply not true. I made a full time income as a social blogger, but I didn't like it. I had a personality based blog and it wasn't fun after a while. I wanted my privacy back. But it is worth a go if you have the stomach for putting your life on the line for all the world to see. The more you show of your deepest darkest thoughts, the more income you get, trust me on that one.
- How To Make Money Fast Online As A Freelance Writer
Many people are looking into making or supplementing an income with writing. Freelance writing is lucrative for some, but many more give up before they really know what the business is about. In my mind,...
Freelance Writing
I jumped from social blogging to internet marketing to freelance writing. Internet marketers hire freelance writers, and I needed money faster than internet marketing delivered, so I wrote for several months for Textbroker. I did about an hour's worth of work a day, and got $300 a month. That was all that we needed above my husband's income to stay on budget.
Internet Marketing
When things stabilized for us financially I dropped Textbroker like a hot potato and went back to Internet Marketing full time, which is where I happily reside. I can write about whatever I want, as I have chosen niches that I enjoy, mostly in fashion. I work about 8-10 hours a day, but it is not the income that makes me love it. The income is still around what I was getting with Textbroker. It is the thrill of it. It is like playing a big Monopoly game, but with real money. I learn new tricks every day and am constantly trying new things. And, I spend most of my day typing away, which is what I really want.
